Vetyco (“we”, “the app”) helps you keep your pet’s health record and chat with an AI companion about your pet. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
We use your data only to provide the app: to store your pet’s record, show your calendar and gallery, and let the AI give answers based on your pet’s history. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
When you chat with the AI, your message (and any photo) plus relevant details about your pet are sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate a reply. We use a paid API tier, under which your content is not used to train their models. The AI provides informational guidance only and is not a veterinarian.
Your data is stored with Supabase (Postgres database and file storage) in the EU region. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to your account.
If you subscribe to Vetyco Pro, the purchase is processed by Google Play and your subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and an anonymous purchase identifier — we never see or store your card or bank details.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app (Supabase for hosting and storage, Google for AI processing, and Google Play / RevenueCat for subscriptions). We do not share it with anyone else.
You can view and edit your data in the app at any time. You can delete individual records, or delete your whole account (Settings → Delete account), which permanently removes your account and all associated pet data. If you are in the EU, you have rights under the GDPR including access, correction, deletion and portability.
Vetyco is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy. We’ll change the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
